Refreshing, smooth and calming. Good for relaxation.

Inspired by the the traditional Moroccan mint tea, this tea is blended with two types of mints, a touch of lemongrass and Linden flower to give it a very velvety and unique accent.

Linden tree is an ancient deciduous tree native to the western European region, including the British isles, Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany. Deeply rooted in the mythologies, its presence has been as sacred and its leaves and flowers (also known as limeflower) have been made into herbal teas and tinctures as a way to ward off evil spirits.

Flavour Description:
This tea has a smooth minty front note, follow by a hint of zesty citrus note and slight green vegetal back note.

Ingredient List:
Organic Botanicals (Spearmint, lemongrass, peppermint, linden flower)

Servings per Packet :
30-35 cups.

ICED TEA BREW METHOD:

  1. Use 1-1.5 teaspoons of tea leaves per 200mL. Place leaves in a herb pouch for easy usage (or you'll need to sieve it once it is brewed).
  2. Add tea into a heat stable vessel (that you can place in fridge).
  3. Add 80 C water (to get 80 C, fill kettle half way, boil, then top the kettle with room temperature water).
  4. Chill in fridge with leaves in for a few hours, preferably overnight.
  5. TO SERVE, I recommend a tall glass with ice, pour tea over it (sieve it through if you didn't use a herb pouch).
  6. OPTIONAL: Add a squeeze of lime, and a sprig of mint to make it fancy. ENJOY.

Recommended Standard Brew Method:

  1. Use 1 teaspoon of tea per cup (200mL).
  2. Add hot water (not boiling).
  3. Steep for 3 - 5 mins.
  4. Enjoy as is, or with a slice of lime and a drop of honey. Beautifully smooth chilled and drunk cold.
